TRAINING IN MINDFUL SELF-COMPASSION (MSC)

Using self-compassion to reach your full potential

8-week Mindful Self-Compassion course (MSC)

Do you want more balance, motivation, happiness and to reach your full potential?

Do you feel like so many others that you spend unnecessary energy on self-criticism, stress or sometimes unreasonable demands on yourself? Would you like to experience how much easier it is to perform and live healthily with self-compassion as an inherent driving force?

MSC is aimed at those who want to train their inner resources of self-compassion in their professional and private life. Self-compassion means that we manage to stay safe and strong no matter what life throws at us. We develop a mental toughness, a resilience, that enables us to dare and can handle even difficult moments. This is why we are able to get up from difficulties and failures much faster, learn from them and develop to reach our full potential.

Compassion helps us to live and work WITH our minds and bodies instead of working AGAINST them. Most of us feel compassion for a good friend who is having a hard time. What would it be like to receive the same kind attention when you need it most?

The MSC also has good evidence for professionals who want to develop new practical skills in their field such as HR, leadership, coaching, mentoring and education and/or prevent empathy fatigue.

The course provides access to the international teacher training certification program in Mindful Self-Compassion, MSC.

Said by previous participants
"I feel stronger, I know I have the tools to cope with even difficult and stressful situations. I see myself and life with kinder eyes. "

"I am grateful and amazed at how much time and energy I have now that I no longer spend unnecessary time on stress and self-criticism. It is so much easier to perform and I have progressed further in my work role thanks to my new approach to myself."

"MSC has changed my approach to myself and the world around me. I am happier, as well as more content most of the time. Not that all the hard things have disappeared, but I have a more comfortable way of dealing with stress and adversity."

About the approach
MSC was developed by psychology professor Kristin Neff, together with Christopher Germer, a psychologist and psychotherapist. This empirically successful original program from the Center for MSC in the United States develops the capacity for self-compassion.

The approach is experiential, with theory interspersed with practice. You do exercises in conscious presence, self-compassion and loving kindness and experiential writing and visualization exercises. The training takes place sitting, lying down and in smaller movements. Between sessions, you get home exercises that you carry out based on your conditions and your life situation.

This includes access to our audio files and videos. All content is easily accessible in our app.

In order to receive a certificate for the Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC) international teacher training certification course, you need to attend at least 6 out of 8 sessions. The half-day retreat is mandatory.

The group is 8-15 participants. We reserve the right to cancel the course if there are too few participants.

The teachers of the course are Elin Borg and Caroline Spännar.
