PROPOSALS

Training in Mental Training with Mindfulness and Compassion for Sports Leaders (MMC)

Länsförsäkringar Göteborg and Bohuslän is pleased to offer free places in mental training in collaboration with Mindworkout and Well-Aware-ness, based on scientific methods. The training is part of Länsförsäkringar's social investment in the mental health of children and young people.
The offer is aimed at sports leaders in sports clubs in Gothenburg and Bohuslän. Maximum 24 places per course.

The purpose of the training is to provide a foundation in mental training with conscious presence and compassion through both theory and practical exercises, so that the leader in turn has more knowledge to meet the players in both good and bad times. A battery of practical exercises for children and young people will help the coach.

WHEN AND WHERE/HOW
Training is divided into two sessions and it is important to attend both days 1 and 2.

THE MENTAL TRAINING COURSE GIVES THE LEADER
- Basic knowledge of how we can shape the brain through mental training and mindset.
- Opportunity to get to know themselves, their body better and to manage emotions through conscious presence.
- Knowledge of how to manage stressful thoughts and performance anxiety in players.
- Knowledge to contribute to the players' awareness of the possibilities to take care of their mental health in everyday life.
- Techniques to increase focus and concentration
- Exercises in compassion

STRUCTURE AND CONTENT OF THE TRAINING
1. training on site and via video link. Trainers are Caroline Spännar and Elin Borg.
2. recorded exercises to practice on your own.
3. access to a large battery of recorded exercises to do together with your players
4. training videos and images to show the players.
